In October 2017, Harvard-Westlake purchased Weddington Golf & Tennis, a 16-acre property in Studio City bounded by Whitsett Avenue and the Los Angeles River, less than a mile from Harvard-Westlake’s upper school campus. We are enthusiastically working to transform the site into the Harvard-Westlake River Park campus, which will offer athletic and recreational opportunities to both our students and the community.

The result represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to preserve much-needed open space, reintroduce native plants, trees, and animal life to this stretch of the LA River, and create recreational and athletic facilities for Harvard-Westlake School and the public alike.

Community benefits of the Harvard-Westlake River Park

  • Abundant underground parking on site.
  • Public walking & jogging trails.
