The updated draft site plan for the River Park calls for the development of two athletic fields (one with a track), a fifty-meter swimming pool, eight tennis courts, and a gymnasium. Above ground, the plan also features a walking/jogging track around the entire perimeter of the site and a network of public plazas, water features, wooded areas, and other natural spaces that together comprise a publicly-accessible six-acre River Park. The updated draft site plan preserves the clubhouse and putting green and makes them both available for public enjoyment. Underground, the plan calls for the development of a parking garage that will ensure visitors to the River Park never need to park on neighboring streets. The plan also includes one of the largest privately funded stormwater capture and treatment systems in Los Angeles, a testament to Harvard-Westlake’s commitment to developing an environmentally responsible project.
The revised draft site plan below highlights in green the areas that will be open to the public each day.
